I am attempting to reset myself on what has happened in America over the past three months, what has not happened, and what is on the horizon. In fact I thought about this for the past two hours and am almost at a loss for words.
To the “common man” on the street that gets their news and information from the main stream media they believe the economy is improving. Propaganda such as improving employment numbers, housing starts, rising retail sales, and no inflation is being blasted every hour of every day into the psyche of the citizenry. They are watching a president repeat daily how well he is handling the economy, a federal reserve chairman using words such as “improving economic outlook”, and politicians across the country that in speaking events and campaign flyers tout how their skills and legislation has turned the economy around and everything is recovering. Every TV station shows for 8 hours a day the stock exchange “bug” indicating a dow jones at 13,000, and that the “good times are back”.
If you have learned to not believe one word from the main stream media and do your own research on the economy you know the truth, which is simple, money is being printed like there is no tomorrow causing rampant commodity and stock price inflation, that is covering up an economy that is in collapse. Not one politician besides the likes of Ron Paul are willing to address the true problems of the American economy which start with the Federal Reserve, the too big to fail banks, and a government spending problem on steroids.
Notice I have yet to touch on topics such as agenda 21, one world government, wars, Syria, Iran, Libya, nuclear power plants, military industrial complex, corporations, Fascism, Police State, NDAA, martial law, surveillance drones, homeland security, state deficits, local deficits, two party political illusion, and other topics associated with the collapse of America.
I am attempting to show you how in one area of discussion the economy, there is truth and then there is a false reality, AKA lies, and propaganda being fed to you.
Today it is a TUG OF WAR for your mind.
With every economic report that is presented in the main stream media you hear how things are “improving”. Even with gas prices they tell you that it is “Iran’s fault”, and “price speculators” that are causing the increases. Listen to a truck commercial for Ford, and you would think the way to improve your finances in regards to gas prices is to buy a new truck. That is right, a new truck may get about 3 miles per gallon better fuel economy then the old one you have paid off. You are supposed to think that if you save $30 a month on fuel cost you will be better ahead regardless of the $30,000.00 that you put out for the truck plus another $10,000.00 to finance it. No where in any conversation on the MSM or those political candidates on both side of the aisle do they mention money printing as the cause for rising oil and food prices, it is conveniently left out, because it is the main reason for all the rising prices, which they do not want you to know. Why, because if you stop the money printing we will have a collapse of the economy that will make the Weimar Republic look tame.
When it comes to the economy today is nothing more than smoke, mirrors, and jive talk. ”Hey the unemployment rate fell to 8.3% with 250,000 less unemployed Americans than last month”. That is what every news channel, AM talk radio show, and newspaper ran as its headline for 48 hours at the start of this month. If you are someone that only gets your news from those sources how could you not think things are getter better? The truth is that those 250,000 people fell off the roles, that means they have either been unemployed for longer than 99 consecutive weeks and no longer get benefits or they gave up looking and are no longer counted. The headlines also forgot to mention that the number was “seasonally adjusted” for an additional 220,000 people that somehow retired or are people that “no longer are counted as part of the working population”. If you dig further you see that Income tax revenues for that same month were down 10% over the previous year. Only those that get their news by doing there own research and follow “alternative news sources” could you find out the truth. Maybe someone should ask our president on how to reconcile this information.
From inflation, to the stock market, to the housing market, it is lies and deception on one side versus the truth and facts on the other. The biggest bullhorn by far is the lies and deception side while those in power are doing everything they can to silence the truth and facts side. It will only be a matter of time before websites such as this one and others will be shut down by the government under the guise of “freedom of information”, or “web-unity” or whatever made up slogan they want to use to deceive the people into believing them.
The tug of war continues on a daily basis. Nothing shows this better than the topic of the Economy.
God Bless
